Death and Taxes update .02

Tue May 30, 2006, 7:58 PM
..so the non military crunching and creation is done... i just have to organize it and add images and text...

here is what i have so far

DAT

i will keep this updated so check back... this new version has so muchmore info than the last one... it has some serious depth... the real art will be in fitting it all on 6 square feet of paper... but i will try...

i really think this on will be incredibly useful onces its done... just the sheet amount of information you will have at your fingertips will be astonishing...

also i need some help with part of the website to be.... basically, i would like to put the poster on the website in a flash version, that one could scroll around and zoom in maybe. so bascailly if you know how to make a image scrollable and zoomable in flash or whatever... then let me know ... i can definetly give you a free poster and maybe $25 or something.... this obviously would be a huge file... since the image is so big... but if you can do this let me know..

Fun Fact: The US Institute of Peace receives 27 million dollars next year. The Defense Department receives 560 ... billion.

also much thanks to everyone who helped me with doing the calculations... thanks!

Hey, I can definitely help with a website and a flash zoom/pan app.

I have experience with web design for awhile now... my PDF portfolio is here: [link]

Let me know if you're interested on DA or via email - chris@comitar.com (whichever is easier for you).

I must say... the 2004 poster was amazing. I can't imagine what this one will be like!

Hi. I'm a Flash developer and I just wanted to comment for the one who makes it (I got no time), that if I don't remember wrong, Flash has a limit for the size of images (between 1000 and 3000 pixels, I can't remember). A trick must be used to split the image in parts and then simulate it's one big image. Here is a sample I did one time. The big image is actually several images: [link]
Greetings and great work. I think it's important...

thanks for the heads up.
